Planning a renovation? Looking to get rid of large or built-in items?
Maybe you are renovating your kitchen and have outdated kitchen cabinets or an appliance you would like to get rid of? Our professional ReStore Deconstruction & Salvage Team can come to your home and carefully and efficiently dismantle major household items such as kitchen cabinets, countertops, appliances, bathroom fixtures, and more. All at NO COST to you.
Or maybe you are looking to have doors, windows, or built-in shelving removed – we can carefully and professionally (at absolutely no cost to you), tackle these projects for you.
You’ll save big on demolition and disposal costs, plus you’ll help reduce your environmental footprint.
When you choose to have your kitchen removal with us, our professional team will come to your house or place of business at a prearranged time. The donation process includes dismantling your kitchen including cabinets, furnishings, built-in items, shelving, and appliances. Sit back and relax as our professional team deconstructs your kitchen, and leaves you with a brand new space to renovate. We’ll take everything and the kitchen sink.
You will receive a charitable tax receipt based on the resale value of your donated products. Your donation will then be sold as product in one of your local Habitat ReStores to create funds to contribute to our efforts to build safe, decent, and affordable housing for local families.
Deconstruction isn’t just a great way to get your kitchen renovation done. It’s also an alternative to throwing out your trash; deconstruction diverts waste from clogged landfills and gets rid of your old stuff in an environmentally friendly way.
Deconstructing with Habitat is also completely free, meaning you can offset the costs of your renovations while earning a tax receipt for your donation of the kitchen cabinets and other items. The charitable tax receipt is for the estimated resale value of your donated items. Not only do you gain this receipt, but you also save money on labour costs since the removal program is 100% free.
You can feel good knowing that the proceeds from the sale of deconstructed items and kitchens in our ReStores go directly back into our projects to build safe, decent, and affordable homes for those in need right here in your community. Your kitchen deconstruction might be free for you, but the funds raised from selling products in a Habitat ReStore can help ensure a better future for a local family.
