Celebrating President Jimmy Carter’s 100th Birthday!

Today, we celebrate a remarkable milestone: President Jimmy Carter’s 100th birthday! From all of us at Habitat for Humanity Peterborough & Kawartha Region (Habitat PKR), we extend our warmest wishes to President Carter and honor his extraordinary legacy of service.

For over 35 years, President Carter and his late wife, Rosalynn, have been dedicated Habitat volunteers, inspiring countless individuals to join the cause of affordable housing. Together, they have helped build, renovate, and repair over 4,300 Habitat homes in 14 countries, including more than 180 homes across Canada. Their commitment to service and community continues to inspire us all.

Thank you, President Carter, for your unwavering dedication to improving lives and your invaluable contributions to Habitat for Humanity. Here’s to you on this special day!
