Highlights: Women Build Retreat 2024

Last weekend, Habitat for Humanity Peterborough & Kawartha Region, partnered with the Women Business Network of Peterborough to welcome an amazing group of women to the Women Build Retreat at the stunning Camp Timberlane in the Haliburton Highlands. This memorable experience, powered by lead sponsor ACM Designs was filled with laughter, connection, and empowerment. Participants rolled up their sleeves for hands-on building activities, crafting beautiful planter boxes for the YWCA Women’s Shelter HERS. The retreat offered a variety of outdoor adventures, from water activities to peaceful yoga sessions, all while fostering bonds among like-minded women. Each ticket purchased also included a donation to Habitat PKR’s Upcoming Affordable Build Project – so it was a win-win! The atmosphere was electric as everyone embraced the chance to build not only with tools but also with one another. Check out the highlights!
