Now more than ever, families need the security and stability of a decent home that they can afford. That’s why Habitat for Humanity Canada is rallying everyone together to help us build more homes for families in need of affordable homeownership.
Each fall, Habitat Peterborough & Kawartha Region typically hosts our annual fundraiser – Women Build – that engages our community to raise funds and walls. Because we cannot come together this year to build a home in the way we traditionally do, we’re changing the rules and participating in a national virtual campaign called every one build.
We’re calling on corporations, individuals, and community groups to come together to help us ‘build virtually’ and offer Canadian families the hand up they need to rebuild their lives.
Together, we can continue to help families build strength, stability, and self-reliance through affordable homeownership – at a time that it is needed the most.
Every One Build encourages you to #BuildFromHome by engaging in interactive, informative, and impactful activities at home. Instead of framing walls on Habitat build sites, we’re coming together in the spirit of community and building hope at home.
Habitat Canada’s Every One Build campaign runs for 4 weeks, from October 5 to October 31, covering the following themes: Women Build, Indigenous Build, Sustainability Build, International Build, and Every Youth Build.
We can’t build without your support! Help us raise $20,000 to build a safe and decent home for families.
