The Beer Store Bottle Drive is Back – Turn Your Empties into Homes!

From August 25 to September 21, you can help build a better future for families in your community simply by returning your empty beverage containers.

We’re once again partnering with The Beer Store to make it easy for you to support Habitat for Humanity Peterborough & Kawartha Region. When you return your empty beer, wine, and liquor containers to a participating location, you can choose to donate your refund to help us build safe, decent, and affordable homes right here in our region.

How to Get Involved

Donate your empties at a participating Beer Store location

Make a cash donation at the till

Encourage friends, family, and neighbours to join the cause

Every can, bottle, and dollar makes a difference.

How Does the Bottle Drive Work?

When you buy certain beverage containers in Ontario, you pay a deposit. Through the Ontario Deposit Return Program, you get that deposit back when you return the containers to The Beer Store. During our bottle drive, you can choose to donate your refund to Habitat PKR.

Containers over 100ml carry a deposit of 10¢ to 20¢

All beverage alcohol containers purchased in Ontario with a deposit are accepted

Your donation will help families and individuals in our community achieve the dream of affordable homeownership.

Start collecting your empties today and join us in building homes, communities, and hope. For more information on this campaign, visit habitat.ca/bottledrive
