Donation Ambassador
Do you love working with people and have a valid driver’s license? Habitat for Humanity Peterborough & Kawartha Region (Habitat PKR) is looking for 2 full-time truck drivers - we call them Donation Ambassadors.
In this role, together with a colleague, you will drive the Habitat truck to pick up donations for the Habitat ReStores from homes, stores, offices, etc. As the first in-person connection between the ReStores and our donors, you are the face of Habitat PKR in the community. As such, your manner conveys professionalism, friendliness, and appreciation for our donors. You will screen donated goods for suitability and decline product tactfully, preserving the goodwill of the donor. You will also deliver customer purchases to homes, offices, etc. and assist with unloading, sorting, and transporting items to Habitat ReStores in Peterborough and Lindsay.
