Through our High-Impact Investment Program, community supporters can make a hand-up investment that helps us fund affordable housing projects without taking on long-term debt.

Fund Affordable Homes
Habitat PKR uses the funds to build homes without relying on high-interest loans.
Flexible Returns
At the end of the loan period, your loan is repaid in full. Lenders can receive accrued interest as a charitable tax receipt for extra benefit.
Impact
Your support allows us to buy land, build more homes, and approve families on the lower end of the financial spectrum—giving them a safe, decent, and affordable place to call home.

Ariel and her son Hugo live in an old and beautiful downtown building that is now in a poor deteriorating condition. Like many families in the City of Peterborough, the rising rental costs and increasingly high-interest rates for housing made the opportunity of finding an alternative affordable home to rent or buy feel far out of reach.
