Women are the builders of life. We build homes, communities, families, businesses, bonds and so much more... This Fall, Habitat for Humanity Peterborough & Kawartha Region is teaming up with the Women's Business Network of Peterborough (WBN) to invite you to an unforgettable Women Build Retreat at Camp Timberlane on October 4 to 6, 2024. Escape to rustic charm, blend adventure with learning new construction skills, and enjoy moments of relaxation and community. Every ticket supports HabitatPKR's local affordable home-building efforts and includes a donation to build raised garden boxes for the YWCA Women’s Shelter (HERS) in Haliburton County. From outdoor activities like kayaking to serene yoga sessions, bond with like-minded women and support HabitatPKR's upcoming multi-unit build project in Haliburton.Join us in this meaningful and (ridiculously fun) journey!
